                   SAN FRANCISCO, June 13, 2007 – The Open Group, a vendor- and  technology-neutral consortium focused on open standards and global  interoperability within and between enterprises, today announced the plenary  agenda and preliminary lineup of speakers for its 15th Enterprise  Architecture Practitioners Conference, to be held July 23rd–25th,  2007 at the Four Seasons in Austin, TX.  
                   The Open Group’s Enterprise  Architecture Practitioners Conferences, now in their fourth year, are globally  recognized events created by and for enterprise architecture practitioners to  examine a wide variety of topics that are impacting the profession. The Austin event will specifically  give attendees an opportunity to  advance their knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and its impact  on the enterprise and their business.  
                  The event already features an  impressive lineup of plenary speakers, including senior IT leaders and  enterprise architects from global organizations such as IBM, Sun Microsystems,  Capgemini, Austin Energy, Chevron, and Deutsche Bank, among many others. A  panel of well-known industry analysts, trade press and other assorted experts  will discuss and dissect current SOA-related trends on Monday, July 23. This plenary  session will include return appearances by InfoWorld’s  Executive Editor at Large Eric Knorr and Datamonitor analyst Tony Baer, in  addition to Dana Gardner, president and principal analyst of Interarbor  Solutions; Beth Gold Bernstein, vice president of Strategic Products and  Services for ebizQ.net, and Todd  Biske, principal enterprise architect for MomentumSI. In addition, David  Linthicum, internationally known services-oriented architecture expert, will be  a featured keynote speaker.
