the immediate availability of TOGAF™ 8 Certification
testing for individuals in a computer-based format. Additionally,
the TOGAF 8 Certification exam is now available at Thomson
Prometric testing centers around the world, making it more
broadly accessible to a global community of IT practitioners.
TOGAF, The Open Group Architecture Framework, is an industry
standard architecture framework that may be used freely by
anyone wishing to develop enterprise architecture for use
within their own organization. TOGAF certification is an
assurance program based on the framework providing four classes
of certification: Certified (for individuals), Tool Support,
Training, and Professional Services. To date, more than 1,200
registered practitioners, including architecture service
providers, tool vendors and individual enterprise architects,
have been TOGAF 8 certified.
