a vendor and technology-neutral consortium dedicated to enterprise

and influencers, announced today that Capgemini and NEC joined
other industry leaders, IBM, HP, Fujitsu, Hitachi, and Sun
Microsystems, and became Platinum Members of The Open Group.

Capgemini will contribute immediately to The Open Group
as co-supporter of The Open Group’s new IT Architect
Certification program (http://www.opengroup.org/itac),
which is being announced today, July 18, 2005. NEC, an active
member of the Architecture Forum, has contributed to defining
TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) and will contribute
to popularize TOGAF in Japan.
