OPEN GROUP HOSTS CONFERENCE ON IT TRUST & CONFIDENCE
Two-Day Conference, Sponsored by Intel, to Feature IT Security Experts
From Government Agencies and Corporations, Including U.S. Dept. of Defense, U.S. Dept. of Energy, and Boeing

WASHINGTON, DC (October 22, 1999) - The Open Group, a vendor and technology neutral consortium dedicated to enterprise integration, announced that Intel Corporation is sponsoring its security conference addressing information technology (IT) security issues from legal and technical points-of-view. The two-day conference, "Enabling Secure e-Business - Trust & Confidence in the Global Infrastructure," starts on October 25 at the Hilton Crystal City at National Airport in Arlington, VA. The conference will focus on the design, implementation and management of systems for handling sensitive or secret data issues that arise with the growth of electronic commerce.
