                   SAN FRANCISCO, May 23, 2007 – The Open Group, a vendor- and  technology-neutral consortium focused on open standards and global  interoperability within and between enterprises, today issued a call for  speakers for its upcoming Architecture Practitioners Conference being held July  23rd-27th at The Four Seasons in Austin, Texas.  The Open Group’s Architecture Practitioners Conferences, now in their fourth  year, are globally recognized events created by and for enterprise architects  to examine a wide variety of topics impacting the profession.
                   Entitled “Architecting Your Service-Oriented Enterprise,” the  15th Architecture Practitioners Conference will focus on the  critical criteria for SOA implementation and development. The goal is to offer conference  attendees access to unparalleled knowledge and insight into architecting a  service-oriented enterprise. The conference sessions will address trends,  challenges and how to capitalize on known architecture best practices.  
                  The conference plenary and track sessions will focus on the following  areas:
