1. Open Network Computer

Product Information

The Network Computer Foundation Product Standard, to which this document applies, requires that a Network Computer implementation provide certain capabilities. One such is the ability to execute Java Applets in an environment that conforms with the Javasoft definition of the Java Virtual Machine and The Java Class Libraries (version 1.1). This "Java Runtime Environment", however, is not required to be supplied as part of a product offering. A conforming Network Computer product could be a complete collection of hardware and software that provides the required environment, a collection of software that runs on a variety of types of hardware but supplies all of the required Network Computer services directly, or a 100% Java application that relies upon the presence of hardware and a Java Runtime Environment. In the questions about your product below, please ensure that you provide adequate information that The Open Group and purchasers can determine which of the above your product is, and (in the case of software-only implementations) what environments the product is guaranteed to function in.

Enter the product name, version/release number, and product supplier for each product required to meet the conformance requirements.
