Presentation
Enterprise Architecture in small companies - it can be done
Enterprise Architecture projects are usually undertaken by dedicated teams of IT professionals, working with Business Process Owners to create and populate various Architectures. A small company such as Datamine South Africa (9 Consultants) is unable to justify such an expenditure, but has still managed to incorporate Enterprise Architecture principles into their new projects. This ensures that all projects are planned, delivered and supported using a standard methodology (which improves with each iteration) thereby reducing the risk of project non-performance to both Datamine and the client.

This presentation will demonstrate some of the techniques used, including the role that small companies can make in creating and shaping Industry Standard Architectures such as the Exploration, Mining, Minerals, Metals Vertical (EMMMv).
