Presentation
Can Sir Isaac Newton Please Help EA
In the past 20 years we have seen the Enterprise Architecture discipline maturing to a point where “Enterprise Architects” and “Enterprise Architecture departments” are not uncommon titles on organisation charts. EA tools are now a mature technology, and we even have Gartner publishing the “Magic Quadrant” on EA toolsets and methodologies, together with research subject titles such as “Where will EA be in 5 years?”.

Enterprise Architects are scarce, expensive and typically well qualified, and yet – business still moans about the value EA brings to the table. In this presentation we aim to take the audience back to the early days of people like Newton and Pareto to explain why EA still suffers from its absent glory in the business. This includes covering of topics such business process modelling, business process physics, business process patterns, and content, together with a few practical case study examples.
