This Product Standard provides a command interface to a range of system utilities. It includes conformance to the Shell and Utilities volume of ISO/IEC 9945:2009. It is an enhanced version of the Commands and Utilities V4 Product Standard. The principal enhancements are: Deficiencies have been corrected as a result of incorporation of Austin Group Interpretations and The Open Group Corrigenda. The UUCP utilities are now optional. Some new options have been added to the diff, ln, ls, patch, pathchk, sort, and touch utilities, and a new -path primary has been added to the find utility.
