Sockets V2

This Product Standard provides applications with the sockets interface to the underlying communications system. It is an enhancement to the Sockets Product Standard. The enhancements include (1) changes to remove any hardware data-length dependencies or restrictions and (2) extensions to IEEE 1003.1 being defined by the IEEE P1003.1g project. The portability environments for this Product Standard are Internationalized System Calls and Libraries Extended and Internationalized System Calls and Libraries Extended V2.
