The Product Standard is a precisely defined and documented set of functionality to which products can be certified. It provides a mapping between certification, the specifications, and the test suites needed to demonstrate conformance.

- This is an enhanced Base Product Standard includes full
conformance to both ISO/IEC 9945-1:1990 (POSIX-1) and
ISO/IEC 9945-2:1993 (POSIX-2). The Indicator of
Compliance involves a comprehensive set of tests for all
the constituent Product Standards. This Product
Standard includes the following Product Standards: Internationalized System Calls and
Libraries, Commands and
Utilities V2, and C
Language.
