The Product Standard is a precisely defined and documented set of functionality to which products can be certified. It provides a mapping between certification, the specifications, and the test suites needed to demonstrate conformance.
UNIX 03 Server

- The UNIX 03 Server Product Standard is a superset of the
UNIX 03 Product Standard. This Product Standard adds
interoperability to the UNIX 03 Product Standard to support
Internet and intranet services. This includes support of
network clients and the presence of a mandatory
Java execution environment.
The emphasis
is towards services and applications support. A standard
server will provide a set of core services to support
Internet applications. The additional functionality over
the UNIX 03 Product Standard includes: the Internet
protocol suite, Internet Protocol Version 6, Secure Shell
Protocol Version 2, Java support and
Internet capabilities to support network clients. This Product Standard
includes the following mandatory Product Standards:
UNIX 03 and Internet Server V2.
This Product Standard includes the following optional
Product Standard:
Internet Protocol Version 6.
