The TOGAF Certification Program

Certification Fees Schedule (effective January 19 2004, *)

The fees described below are quoted net of applicable taxes and duties which, where appropriate, will be payable in addition by the Applicant  to The Open Group (or to the relevant tax; authorities as applicable).

Certification exams are priced according to currency values in specific countries and regions. Certification exam prices are subject to change. In some countries and regions, additional taxes may apply. Contact your test registration center for exact pricing.

Fee due upon application to take the TOGAF 8 Examination. Prometric administers the TOGAF 8 Certification exam (OG0-081). The exam is available at any authorized Prometric testing center around the world. If calling within North America, contact Prometric at (800) 755-EXAM (755-3926). Outside the United States and Canada, contact your local Prometric Registration Center. To register online with Prometric, visit the Prometric Web site at http://www.prometric.com.

(1) Upon application from a single company to renew certification for two or more certified employees in a single batch. The applicable fee band is calculated based on the total number of employees a company has on the register at the renewal time. Payment for renewal must be received prior to the first renewal date in the batch in order to qualify for batch rates.

(2) Upon application from a certified training organization to renew certification for two or more individuals in a single batch. The applicable fee band is calculated based on the number of individuals submitted in the batch. Payment for renewal must be received prior to the first renewal date in the batch in order to qualify for batch rates.

* Updated July 2006 to add TOGAF 8 Certified by the examination, and to clarify renewal for TOGAF Certified both for individuals and batch renewals for companies who have multiple certified employees, and batch renewals through training organizations. Updated September 2007 to note entitlement to membership of AEA for TOGAF Certified.
Updated February 2016 fee adjustment for new certifications.

** In order to apply for certification under the following classes of certification: TOGAF Tool Support, TOGAF Training, and TOGAF Professional Services, applicants must have an Annual Commercial License for the appropriate TOGAF Specification version in place.  Applicants who purchase an Annual Commercial License for TOGAF receive free Membership of the Architecture Forum (See the benefits of membership.)  Applicants who are already Members of the Architecture Forum may obtain an Annual Commercial License for TOGAF for no additional charge after completing the appropriate paperwork.

*** The TOGAF Certified fee includes an entitlement to membership of the Association of Open Group Enterprise Architects for no additional fee.
