Copyright © 2002-2006 The Open Group

Issue 1.2, July 6 2006

If you are an individual, your choices are to become certified in one of two ways:

  1. Satisfactory completion of a qualifying training course
  2. Taking the examination

For 1, you can find an available certified training course from the certification register or selecting this link . Click on the course name entry and the detailed page should give you a web link to the company that offers the course. As part of the package of attending the qualifying course, the training organization will register you for certification and you need do nothing more. Your name and a certificate should appear on the public register within 30 days of completing the course.

For 2, (available from July 10 2006) Prometric administers the TOGAF 8 Certification exam (OG0-081). The exam is available at any authorized Prometric testing center around the world. If calling within North America, contact Prometric at (800) 755-EXAM (755-3926). Outside the United States and Canada, contact your local Prometric Registration Center.
To register online with Prometric, visit the Prometric Web site at http://www.prometric.com/OpenGroup.

At the Prometric site you can "Schedule an exam".

Once you pass the examination you must then login to The Open Group web server to complete your certification.

More information about the examination is contained in the link below:
